High School
Today, Jasmine is going into the ninth grade. I dropped her off this morning and I wasn't needed she jumped out of the car with her friend Michelle and off they went. No bye mom or anything. I think I was okay with it because I knew she was in good hands with her friend but still. I wasn't needed. How sad. Oh well, I will hear how her day went when I pick her up this afternoon. It's amazing how time flies by. I remember taking her to her first day of kindergarden. Now look she's in high school....

Middle School
It's that time of the year when kids go back to school.... Yeah!!! This year is an exciting year for Anthony. He starts middle school. Today, was his first day so I dropped him off at school. He must think of me as crazy because this year he's decided to grow his hear out. I would prefer that he keep it short as it looks a lot neater, but I have to cut some of the strings at some point. I guess I can give a little on this point. At least I will try. I tried to help him out and fixed it up for him as he's not into taking care of himself as of yet, so I have to help him out or he will look like a motherless child and that's no joke. I've seen it with my own two eyes. Anyway, as we arrived at his school. I repeated the same thing over and over no girls touching your hair. The only reason I say this is because a couple of years ago I went on a fieldtrip with Jasmine's class and all of young ladies had surround this boy and all of their hands were in his hair. Of course, since I was present the only one that I didn't see in his hair was Jasmine. Can you imagen what goes on when your not around. I know it's harmless, but I take things to the extreme. For Anthony, he my guy!!! No I'm just hoping as a mother that he turns into a fine gentleman. Just the other day, I was telling him that there is nothing wrong with being a nice guy!!! I just pray that he'll continue to be just who he is not conform to the pressures of the world.
This pic is of him and his younger cousin having a funtime in the backyard playing...
Enjoy being young because it only happens once.

Yesterday, was Jessie's 1st soccer practice. She held in there. She was a little whiney before we arrived as she had just woke up the hour before but once she got there she was okay. This is new for her so it was fun to watch her out on the field giving it her all... I will keep you posted as she progresses...

He's the Man
What happen to my little boy? One minute I'm mommy and the next I'm mom... Today, we went to register him for middle school. He will be attending the local middle school right up the street. I asked if I could take some pictures of him while we were at the registration and he agreed, but by the time we arrived the parking lot was packed and I didn't want to embarrass him by pulling out the camera. So I caught this one at the pool, look at him flex those muscles... As he was reading over some of the papers that were given out he noticed how many dances there were going to be and said something to the effect of finding a girlfriend... Girlfriend.... Has he lost his mind? He just turned 13 and now he's talking about girls... What's next.... I've already set down the ground rules about dating in this household. Hopefully, they'll abide by them. Yes, I know what it was like to be young. So don't go there!!!!!
Water Fight...
Since I've been at home, I've been able to take the kids down to the pool on my lunch break. It's a nice break doing the day to get away from the computer and enjoy the outdoors.

Little Mermaid
Jessie has been home for only a day and she's been wonderful... Tom and I are trying to get her ready for school in a couple of weeks so she has been working on refresher books to get her back into the groove of things... I wanted to wake her up right before I start work but Tom has her waking up earlier and she been so nice about it. She actually getting her work done. I'm so proud of her!!! Before getting her to do things was like pulling out your hair. That how painful it was but she's been absolutely wonderful. She was a big help today. She made a fruit salad and actually offered to wash the dishes and put them away. I had to brag to her dad about how wonderful she had been today. I hope she keep up the good work for when school starts. Fourth grade is a big year for her at least I think so, she's no longer a baby. I tried to tell her dad something today and he thought I was absolutely crazy!!! As far as he's concerned she will be his baby forever.

Demi
This is my little angel whom I love dearly. She is the perfect little dog for someone like me. Especially since I never grew up around dogs. She loves to play and when it's late she even has a bedtime when it time for her to turn in for the evening. My family thinks I'm crazy because I love her so much. There are times when I think she a terrorist. For instance when she has destroyed something or she decided to go into the trash bag and pull everything out. Yesterday is a perfect example, when I came out of my office Tom had taken the trash bag out, of course, he didn't take it out to the trash, so little missy decided to go in and pull everything out. She's so cute that you can't get mad at her for doing things like that so the kids get upset with me because I spoil her so much. Of course, we also have a cocker spaniel name Goldie. He and I don't get a long at all. If it were up to me I'ld give him away but everyone else in the family seems to love him but he's the moodest dog you could ever meet one minuete he's nice and then the next minute he's growling at you. Talk about bipolar. He definately needs medication. I'm surprised that haven't come out with it yet...

Blessings beyond belief
My greatest pleasure in life is having these three kids. They have no idea of how much happiness they bring me. Each one of them has their own personality and you have to adjust to each one. It amazing how one minute you can see that they are fighting we with each other and then the next minute they are so close to each other. My prayer is that they will always be close to one another and be there for each other no matter what. I love you guys with all of my heart!!!! Your Loving mom
Outdoor Play
Today we celebrated Jessica's birthday up at my mother's house. Boy was it a busy day. We were suppose to go to the water park but never make it so we had the kids go out and play. Jessica and Seven played in the backyard at one time I think all four kids were having a water gun fight but I missed it. I heard Mark say that they were ganging up on his son. He's just upset that my kids are in control now... He has alway called me Carter Control. As I recall he was the one that was always ganging up on me when we were young. Like the time he would sock me and said that didn't hurt or the time he cut my hair. He got in trouble for that one. As a present Jessie receive a Baby Alive. I'm sure he'ld love to tell the story about that one. It was Christmas time and he found the hinding place where all the presents were kept. Of course, I was young and didn't know how to keep things quite and spilled the beans so they had to take all the presents back but lucky for me I still got my Baby Alive.

Daddy's Angel
This was after returning from our trip to Hollywood. They were both involved in a new video game. These two are inseparable. Last night when it was time to go to bed who should join us. I don't ever think I will get my bed back. I was telling Jessica the story of when she was a baby and the three of us had to sleep on the floor because she couldn't sleep in her crib and when she slept in the bed with us she would fall out. So low and behold all three of us had to move to the living room floor for six months. Tom is going to be in a world of hurt when she turns into a teenager. Poor guy if he only knew....
Happy Birthday to You...
Another summer birthday and what a spectacular day we had. We went down to Hollywood not my first choice but it was her day and she had a great time. First stop, Build a Bear workshop. I'm amazed the money that you can spend in that place. This year we made it out of there with only spending about 60.00. Last year we took her and spent almost 100.00. This time we were was well prepared. From there we walked the strip of Hollywood Bl. We saw Jack Sparrow I made Jessie go up and take a picture w/ him. He was nice about it since it was his break and all. We took a spin around Clairs and she got a couple of things. We had a great time. Happy 9th Birthday!!!! Of course the party will continue through out the weekend. So I keep you updated on all of the activities.
